Terms of use

Purpose

Novel Phoenix is a personal, public reading-library viewer. It displays reading progress and links visitors to third-party novel and chapter pages. It does not host novel text, sell access, provide user accounts, or process transactions.

Third-party services and no affiliation

Novel Phoenix is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NovelFire, novel authors, publishers, or linked websites. Third-party names and content remain the property of their respective owners. Links may change, disappear, or lead to material governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Acceptable use

You may browse the public library and use the open-source code under its stated license. You may not use the site to violate law, interfere with availability, probe infrastructure without authorization, misrepresent affiliation, distribute malicious files, or infringe another person's rights.

Public data and imports

The public snapshot is intentionally visible. Browser imports are local previews, but any file you intentionally commit to the public repository becomes public. Review exports before publishing and do not include secrets, account data, or information you do not have authority to publish.

Copyright concerns

Novel Phoenix publishes metadata and outbound links, not the linked novels themselves. If you believe material in this repository infringes your rights, contact the owner through a GitHub issue and identify the specific material and basis for the request. Do not post sensitive personal information.

No warranties

The site and its data are provided “as is” and “as available.” Reading progress, chapter availability, authorship metadata, and links may be incomplete or outdated. No guarantee is made that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the project owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or linked third-party services.

Changes

These terms may change as the project changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
