Accessibility
Novel Phoenix is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA principles so the library remains useful with a keyboard, screen reader, zoom, reduced motion, and different color preferences.
What is supported
- A skip link, semantic headings, landmarks, labels, tables, and visible keyboard focus.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, imports, search, sorting, appearance controls, and links.
- Responsive layouts, text zoom, reduced-motion preferences, and independent light/dark palettes.
- Accent colors are adjusted in the browser to maintain readable contrast against the chosen background.
- Status and import feedback are announced through live regions.
Known limitations
On narrow screens, the detailed library table scrolls horizontally so column relationships are preserved. Third-party pages opened from the library are outside Novel Phoenix's control. Custom user-selected colors may differ from the curated palette, although the foreground accent is automatically adjusted for contrast.
Feedback
If something prevents you from using the site, open an accessibility issue with the page, browser or assistive technology, and the action you were trying to complete. Do not include private data.
